Subtitle:Celebrating the achievements of women who are reshaping the future of yachting through talent, vision, and impact.

Women’s Yachting Awards Shine Once Again at Metstrade

Amsterdam, November 18, 2025 – In its second year, the Women’s Yachting Awards returned to METSTRADE with an afternoon ceremony filled with energy, anticipation, and celebration. Hosted at The Superyacht Forum, the event honored the remarkable women whose work, leadership, and trailblazing spirit continue to elevate and transform the global yachting industry.

Event SignificanceThe Women’s Yachting Awards represent more than recognition—they embody a collective commitment to progress, empowerment, and visibility within the yachting world. Each award celebrates women who navigate not only the seas but also the challenges of leadership, innovation, and growth in an evolving maritime landscape.

This year’s ceremony emphasized unity and courage, affirming that true leadership is not defined by trophies but by the people who dare to dream, build, and pave the way forward.

Opening RemarksThe ceremony opened with moving remarks by Francesca, who welcomed guests with warmth and intention:

“Good afternoon, everyone — it’s an honour to stand here today. This room has an energy you can feel… and it reflects the kind of year we’ve had: intense, challenging, and incredibly rewarding. Today, we celebrate women who have distinguished themselves through talent, courage, and innovation. But I want to say this clearly: the finalists are extraordinary — and they are not the only ones. Every one of you deserves to feel seen today. Because leadership, passion, and impact don’t belong to a trophy — they belong to the people who dare.”

Francesca then invited the host and founder of Yacht Femme, Andrea Tagliaferro, to the stage.
