Carole Laisney is the Managing Director of Riviera Wine, an Antibes-based company delivering bespoke wine and spirits provisioning and consulting services to the global superyacht industry. WSET Level 3 certified, she specializes in designing and implementing beverage programs for new-build and refit projects, advising on wine cellar architecture, provisioning strategies, and guest-experience development. Since taking leadership of Riviera Wine in February 2020, she has expanded the company’s international service scope while strengthening its role as a technical and operational partner to yacht interior teams, chefs, and management companies.
Carole’s career combines commercial leadership, maritime operations, and luxury service delivery — a rare combination that allows her to bridge the gap between onboard hospitality and shoreside logistics. Prior to joining Riviera Wine, she served as Sales Manager at the Flight Training Center at Cannes Airport, where she managed high-value client relationships and operational coordination in a safety-critical, high-performance environment. She later moved into maritime infrastructure as Head of the Port of Cannes shipyard, where she gained hands-on experience in vessel operations, refit environments, and shipyard workflows. This operational exposure now informs her ability to support yacht build teams and crew with practical, technically informed beverage solutions.
At Riviera Wine, Carole’s role extends far beyond traditional provisioning. She works closely with interior managers and chefs during the design and build phases of yachts to integrate beverage programs into the vessel’s overall guest experience strategy. Her work often includes advising on wine storage specifications, designing cellar layouts, developing pairing menus, and ensuring inventory programs remain operationally efficient for crew.
She also focuses heavily on experiential offerings. Carole curates private tastings, educational wine sessions for crew, and owner-level wine travel experiences. These programs are designed not only to elevate guest satisfaction but also to provide crew with tools and knowledge that improve onboard service consistency.
Riviera Wine operates internationally, supporting yachts across the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and global cruising regions. Carole’s multilingual capabilities in English, French, and Italian allow her to collaborate seamlessly across shipyards, suppliers, and multinational crew environments.
Alongside her commercial leadership, Carole contributes to professional development within the beverage and hospitality sectors. She works as a wine education facilitator with the Franck Thomas sommelier school, one of France’s most recognized institutions for sommelier training. Her teaching work focuses on making technical wine knowledge practical and accessible for hospitality professionals working in demanding service environments.
