Christabel Gatt is the Chief Operating Officer at Zampa Partners, but she also leads the firm’s VAT & Yachting division. Based in Malta, Christabel provides strategic guidance to clients on complex VAT matters in the yachting sector namely identifying VAT optimising solutions, support with VAT compliance, and importations.

With nearly a decade of experience in VAT, her journey into the yachting industry was a natural evolution as Malta established itself as a central hub for the superyacht sector. The international scope and legal intricacies of VAT in yachting sparked both a professional challenge and a personal passion, making her a trusted advisor in this niche space.

In addition to client work, Christabel actively contributes to industry thought leadership, regularly sharing her insights through lecturing and technical publications. She is currently working towards completing the EU VAT Expert Degree, further deepening her technical credentials.
