Clarissa Androsoni is a seasoned interiors expert and strategic leader in the superyacht industry, with over 15 years of experience spanning the full lifecycle of yacht and cruise ship interior projects. Currently serving as Business Development Director at Winkels Yacht Interiors, Clarissa is also the Founder of Clarissa Androsoni Consultingand the initiator of Smart Interiors Horizons (SIH)—a groundbreaking initiative under the Water Revolution Foundation aimed at redefining sustainability in yacht interiors through structured, realistic, and collective approaches.

Originally from Italy and now based in Hamburg, Germany, Clarissa speaks Italian, English, and intermediate German. Her academic background includes a BSc in Industrial Design from the University of Florence and a MSc in Design Management from the University of Salford in the UK. Her foray into yachting was almost accidental—beginning with academic support for yacht interior workshops before transitioning through events management and eventually joining Fincantieri Yachts, where she worked on landmark projects such as MY Serene and MY Victory.

One of the defining moments in Clarissa’s career was her role as Project Manager on the interiors of MY Kismet (Lürssen, 122m). Over a three-year span, she led a multifaceted delivery involving 240+ materials, 80+ subcontractors, and dual production sites, managing complex logistics, timelines, and creative visions. The project not only tested her technical and managerial abilities but also shaped her core professional identity through resilience, accountability, and purpose.

Clarissa’s recent achievements reflect her transition from hands-on project roles to strategic leadership. At Winkels Yacht Interiors, she has spearheaded the company’s repositioning within the yachting sector, leading commercial development and helping secure their first custom superyacht contract in record time. Her efforts are now focused on expanding Winkels’ presence in key markets—Germany, the Netherlands, and Italy—bridging the precision of German craftsmanship with the relational ethos and design heritage of Italy.

Through Smart Interiors Horizons, Clarissa is pioneering a cross-industry dialogue to embed sustainability into every layer of yacht interiors—from material traceability and lifecycle assessment to collaborative responsibility. SIH has already brought together designers, contractors, classification bodies, academics, and regulatory experts to co-develop practical tools and standards aimed at making conscious interior design not just possible, but expected.

Clarissa continues to contribute across industry platforms and is a strong advocate for female leadership in maritime. Her involvement in networks such as WISTA Germany and Yacht Femme underscores her belief in the power of collaboration, mentorship, and visibility for women in yachting. She draws motivation from connecting creativity, technical precision, and commercial vision to drive meaningful change and elevate standards across the industry.

At the heart of Clarissa’s work lies a deep commitment to intentional progress—not just ticking boxes for innovation or sustainability, but embedding values, intelligence, and collaboration into every process and outcome. She sees the future of yacht interiors not just as a design challenge, but as a systems opportunity—one that calls for clarity, shared purpose, and bold rethinking.
