With more than two decades shaping complex superyacht and luxury residential projects, Laura brings a rare 360-degree approach to yacht design, integrating technology, aesthetics, and functionality from the very first line drawn.

Luxury Projects operates across the full spectrum of yacht design, from exterior and interior architecture to bespoke furniture and technical coordination. Laura’s philosophy is rooted in integration. Rather than layering systems and aesthetics late in the process, her team harmonises air conditioning, audio-visual technology, materials, and spatial flow from the outset. This methodology ensures coherence, innovation, and long-term performance across every project.

Currently, the studio is managing several confidential new-build superyachts over 50 metres, including a 74-metre yacht under construction in Italy for a forward-thinking owner who embraces innovation while valuing rich, sophisticated interiors. Alongside these projects, Luxury Projects oversees multiple large-scale residential developments across Italy, Dubai, Belgium, and the Far East, supported by offices in Ancona, Viareggio, the Middle East, and the Netherlands.

Sustainability has become an increasingly important pillar of the studio’s work. A notable example is an upcoming 38-metre yacht delivered in collaboration with Amer Yachts, featuring engineered wood, glass in place of marble, and recyclable leathers and fabrics. This project reflects Laura’s belief that responsible design and luxury are not opposing forces, but complementary ones.

Laura’s path into yachting was anything but conventional. Holding a PhD in Electronic Engineering from Politecnico in Italy, she began her career in 2002 as the first female project manager in the superyacht industry. Her background in mathematics and problem-solving continues to inform her design approach. She often describes complex projects as a DNA spiral, where changing one element requires a complete recalibration of the whole. This mindset allows her to balance precision with creativity, structure with artistry.

In 2008, Laura founded Luxury Projects to pursue her entrepreneurial vision. Her creative sensibility is deeply influenced by her Italian roots. Raised in Marche, a region celebrated for fashion and fine furniture, and inspired by a grandmother who was a fashion designer, Laura developed an instinctive appreciation for detail, craftsmanship, and materiality. Extensive travel to more than 120 countries continues to shape her global perspective and design language.

Among the studio’s standout achievements are the complete interior and exterior designs for yachts such as MY Alfa, MY Moonstone, MY Samadhi, and MY Nero. Each project reflects Laura’s ability to translate technical complexity into refined, timeless environments that respond precisely to each owner’s vision.
