Susie Shaw is the founder of Sea Emporium Ltd, a premier interior outfitting company serving superyachts worldwide. With operations based in both Ireland and Italy, Sea Emporium has become a trusted partner for yacht owners, crew, and designers looking for expert guidance and curated solutions when outfitting luxury interiors.

Susie began her yachting journey in 2008 in Fort Lauderdale, following early experiences working at a sailing club in Greece and then venturing to the Caribbean in search of superyacht opportunities. Over the next nine years, she worked her way up to Chief Stewardess on vessels over 60 meters, serving aboard busy private and charter yachts across Asia, Europe, and the Americas.

It was during her time in shipyards on new build projects that Susie discovered her true passion: interior outfitting. She loved the process of bringing a yacht's interior to life—sourcing pieces, collaborating with designers, and managing the fine details that create truly bespoke spaces. Frustrated by the lack of suppliers who fully understood the realities of life onboard, she saw a gap—and an opportunity.

In 2017, she launched Sea Emporium with the vision of creating a one-stop outfitting service tailored specifically for superyachts. Since then, the company has expanded to a 15-person team and supported over 150 new build projectsacross Europe and beyond. With plans to open showrooms worldwide, Susie continues to shape the future of yacht interior outfitting by blending her operational experience, industry insight, and passion for design.
