Haiying Xu is a trailblazer in luxury yachting wellness, transforming the superyacht experience with bespoke yoga and holistic programs designed for owners, charter guests, and yacht crew. Combining deep expertise in Eastern wellness traditions with firsthand operational knowledge of the yachting industry, Haiying offers experiences that are as luxurious as they are transformative — where the restorative power of the ocean meets curated mind-body practices. Rooted in the tea farms of Fujian Province, China, particularly Quanzhou City — the birthplace of the renowned Tie Guan Yin Oolong tea — Haiying developed an early connection to Yang Sheng “养生”, the philosophy of holistic health and longevity. This foundation in mind-body balance would later shape her approach to wellness at sea. As a certified yoga teacher and diving instructor, she has traveled extensively across Southeast and South Asia, Micronesia, French Polynesia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas, studying indigenous wellness practices and diverse cultural approaches to well-being. These experiences enriched her understanding of how to create global, culturally-informed programs for elite clients.

Haiying entered the yachting world through her partner, a seasoned professional with 25 years of experience. She worked across multiple superyacht departments, gaining insight into crew roles, yacht operations, and onboard lifestyle. This hands-on experience informs her tailored wellness offerings, ensuring they are practical, respectful of yacht dynamics, and seamlessly integrated into luxury voyages. Reflecting on her journey, Haiying notes, "I wish I had known more about the duties of each crew member and the lifestyle aboard before starting in this industry.

Currently, Haiying is focused on establishing Sagantara’s headquarters in Phuket and forming strategic local and international partnerships. Her mission is to deliver holistic wellness solutions that rejuvenate the mind, body, and spirit for yacht owners, guests, and crew, combine Eastern and Western wellness traditions into a cohesive luxury offering, and harness the restorative power of the ocean to enhance overall well-being.
